• My Own Worst Enemy

28 April 2019
Public opinion is a weak tyrant compared with our own private opinion.

My own insecurities and fears are what keep me from truly progressing. I have just opened access of my books to an accountant. It’s terrifying. He’s asking questions about expenses, nothing major, just questions. I can feel the walls and gates going up as I hear his questions.

But I’ve also learned, I can’t do something right if I don’t have instruction from someone who knows what they’re doing. I’m growing the more I see learn from others. I also feel less stress and less of my own opinion tearing me down when I know it’s being done right by someone else.

The lesson here is continue to allow others to do things you are not good at. You’ll only mess up and have to bring someone in at the end anyway.

Push yourself to be open and transparent.
